Seed and Sun Blooms We are a family owned and run flower farm. We offer u-pick flowers during set days/hours and custom arrangements when flowers are available.

I am passionate about preserving memories through photography. Life is so fleeting, and a photograph is a way to freeze time forever. I would love to capture some precious moments for you! I have experience in these areas: maternity, birth, baby, children, family, seniors, professional head shots, weddings, and small events.

Since becoming a business owner (wayyyy back in 2015-ish starting with photography), I’ve experienced many highs and lows. I’d go as far to say some of the highest highs of my life have involved my businesses, but man there have been some very tough times too. This week, as the hurricane approached, and I’ve seen post after post of small businesses closing early, opening late, shutting down for the day…just being in limbo about how to proceed…all the while, knowing full well that they *need* to be open. They *need* to hold an event…they’ve factored that income into their bottom line…they’ve bought supplies, hired employees, made sacrifices in their personal lives to keep things going. But I’m saying all this to basically say…when the rain stops and the dust settles, and the wind dies down, and these small businesses open their doors back up, GO SEE THEM!! You might not be able to make a big purchase, but show your support! Even if you feel like it’s small! I promise you it will mean the world to them! And if you really want to light them up, bring or send your friends and family! Like their posts, share their content! And/or TELL them how much you appreciate what they offer! They are working tirelessly to make your city/town/county what it is, and believe me, they could always use a little boost!! 💛

Stepping down from my soapbox…I’m so happy to say that we really so far haven’t gotten any damage from the storm 🥹. The flowers are a bit soggy, but I think once the rain stops and the sun shines for a bit, we will be no worse for the wear. So as of now, we’d love to see you tomorrow afternoon for Sunday Evening u-pick ! Hope you’ll come out and enjoy the beauty of the garden while it lasts 🥹.

I always get so emotional at the end of the growing season…it could still be several more weeks before we get a frost, but with hurricane force winds headed our way Saturday…it might not be frost that “ends” the season. I always say it but the ebbs and flows…the growth and the dying is what’s so good for me in this work. I’m constantly reminded that all of this is temporary. Here today, gone tomorrow…every bit of it could easily be. I think the Lord knew I’d need this constant reminder of how temporary and cyclical life is to keep me longing for something eternal and not of this world.

The end of the season is bittersweet…bitter because the tangible beauty disappears…goes back into the dirt…all the hard work and -p**f- it’s gone! But sweet too because what a blessing to tend to this land and the souls who visit here. To get to enjoy the harvest and the the miracle of life and creation so magnified here every single day. What a gift! 🥹

Our plans are to have u-pick Sunday afternoon (October 11, 3:30-5:30pm) as long as the flowers don’t get too mangled in the storm. I’ll keep yall posted. Praying all of you stay safe! Sunday Evening u-pick
