Wild yeast fermented fresh pressed apples, Bisschopswijn mulling spices from Pella, Iowa and Cranberries. No cane sugar or water added.

Made with all natural ingredients. No sulfites or preservatives added. Never pumped or filtered.Naturally gluten free. Raw Iowa honey. No man made ingredients are ever used in our hard ciders. Wild yeast fermentation promotes probiotic growth which we don't remove by filtering and they aren't killed because we don't add sulfites or preservatives.

I’ve been putting off purchasing spices for our business Bisschopswijn. Due to so many restrictions at the farmers markets, festivals and craft shows we decided to not hit the road this fall selling our product. Even though we’re not hitting the road we still sell spices through other avenues. We have a dilemma because the price of spices has literally jumped 42%!!! The price of cinnamon alone has risen 92%!!! We are seriously debating not purchasing any spices and simply selling out of the inventory we have on hand and wait to see what happens next year.  so don’t be surprised if we tell you we don’t have any spices.

This looks like a delicious recipe. Substitute the apple pie spice with Bisschopswijn Ground Spices.

Spiced rum and caramel topping bring new life to apple cider, making this the perfect nightcap for those chilly fall evenings.

Downtown Des Moines Winter Farmer’s Market is today and tomorrow from 8am to 2pm. 150 vendors selling produce, specialty foods, crafts, floral and more. Plus entertainment and things to eat while you shop.

Tomorrow is the tour of stores in Pella, and we will be having HALF PRICE on ALL ciders on tap!! But wait, there's more. We will be tapping the Jacked Hard Cider by Crimson Sunset Spiced Cranberry Cider with spices from Bisschopswijn - Mulling Spices in Pella!! A local favorite, and a delightful holiday cider.
