Due to heavy rainfall and strong winds, the fair is closed today for everyone’s safety.

We’re sad we won’t get to serve you today, but don’t worry—we’ll be back and ready tomorrow with all your favorite flavors! 🌮🔥

Due to weather in the area and a storm system expected to move in tonight bringing the potential for heavy rainfall and strong winds, we have made the decision to close the 2026 Great Anderson County Fair for tonight, Wednesday, May 6, 2026.

The safety of our guests, vendors, staff, and carnival personnel is always our top priority.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back tomorrow as we prepare for a successful second weekend here in Anderson!

To accommodate tonight’s closure, we will honor College Night tomorrow, Thursday, May 7, in addition to the originally scheduled Heroes Day promotions.
