Following where the path leads tonight!

Decided to spend some time exploring the pasture and trying out different angles with pictures on my phone. The cows didn't want to hold still for their pictures so experimenting with landscape photography it was instead!

Our adolescent chickens are starting to lay!!! The small blue pullet eggs are so fun to find in the nesting boxes.

Pullet eggs are the first eggs a chicken produces and tend to be smaller. After about four weeks the chicken will be in the groove of laying and the egg size will increase. Pullet eggs have a higher ratio of yolk to egg white and are usually more flavorful when cooking.
