I am so ashamed to say I have as of yet to indulge in a fun stop at Billy Boys 4 Mile Tavern in Southampton, NJ on rt 72. 😮 It has been on my list for so long. I’m gonna try to get there soon. What do you all recommend that I must try when I get there?! All recommendations appreciated! 😃

Full Review is up for K & B Bagels in Browns Mills, NJ! What a fantastic first experience. The breakfast burrito was top notch and super tasty. Potatoes were spectacular, bacon crispy and eggs nicely cooked. The bagel as soft and chewy on the inside with a crunch on the outside. The jalapeño cream cheese was silky and the jalapeños were nice little chunks w/ the perfect amount of spice. Can’t wait to try their ice cream cakes!

I highly recommend K & B Bagels to anyone who loves a great breakfast with plenty of options for what to get! Stop in and tell em The Helpful Masticator sent ya…maybe they’ll slather on an extra thick slab of cream cheese for ya! 😜

😃🤤Toscana of Cherry Hill, NJ was quite possibly one of the BEST dinners I’ve had in all my life! What a magnificent experience. It is beautiful inside, the food is to die for, the service impeccable and as you’ll see at the end of the video the outside atmosphere in the evening is GORGEOUS! Wow Wow Wow is all I can say.

Here’s what we had:
Lychee Martini for the lass- very good. Made perfectly.

Nonna’s Special Wood Fire Pizza- pepperoni, fennel sausage, apple smoked bacon, Pomodoro sauce, fresh Mozz, mushrooms w/ ricotta & Basil

Special (Best pork chop I’ve ever had!): Costoletta Di Maiale- 14oz center cut Premiere/Reserve Pork Chop topped w/ a spicy sauce of Italian long hots, red onions & fresh tomato filet topped with/ sharp Caciocavallo cheese. WOOOOOW!!!

Sicilian Duck- Crispy Duck breast topped w/ fresh Sicilian blood orange sauce, Flambéed w/ Grand Marnier. Cooked perfectly!

Desserts- tiramisu and crème brûlée that were perfectly executed! A fantastic way to finish the evening.

And the outdoor ambience was breathtaking on the way out. Lights, plants, fish and the calming sound of water running through. GORGEOUS!

Definitely stop out to Toscana in Cherry Hill, NJ very soon and enjoy this establishment as much as we did! 👌🏻👌🏻😊

Ohhh Chiarello's Catering / Hamilton Food Market in Trenton/Hamilton, NJ was absolutely fantastic! Definitely on the top of the scale fighting for my #1 spot. The bread is just a cut above any other that I have had. It truly steals the show. The quality Italian meats/cheese just sets the bar so high. If you’ve never been then you need to make it a point to get here…ASAP!

I did an Italian on Stick bread and also their regular roll. The stick break is just amazing! Hard/crusty outside with a beautiful chewiness on the inside. Great bite and then your tastebuds are engulfed in that amazing mixture of meats, cheese and toppings. I don’t see how anyone couldn’t love this hoagie!

Then I had an Italian on their regular roll which it may be a couple decades since I’ve had it and not just their stick bread. BAM! This bread is just as good and holds so nicely to the quality and reputation that is known at Chiarello’s! Either roll you get you’ll be in pure heaven!

***Bonus review…the pepper shooters and rice pudding! WOW! The pepper shooters were perfect with the prosciutto and cube of sharp provolone stuffed into a tasty and spicy cherry pepper. The rice pudding was creamy, silky and had a nice rice chewiness to it without overtaking the smoothness. Two highly recommended options to choose from here!

Fall weather brings a Fall appetite…SOUTH STAR DINER in Mount Holly, NJ knows how to appease that need! On their front door it states Pumpkin Pancakes and Chili are now available…challenge accepted! I read, I pondered and I enjoyed exactly what it said…Pumpkin Pancakes and Chili…

The Pumpkin pancakes were fluffy, tender to the fork and delicious. The pumpkin spice flavor was tantalizing with the slightest hint of ginger…almost a pumpkin pie/gingerbread combination to spark the senses. Very enjoyable!

The chili? WOW…it is one of the better chilis I have had in recent years! Thick, flavorful, slight smokiness and a pop of spice! Chunks of onions and peppers mixed with the beautiful meat and beans…this was an absolute highlight of my morning.

The wifey had a mighty tasty omelette with nice slivers of potatoes that paired perfectly together.

While you’re cruising down rt 38, pull into South Star Diner and tell em you’re ready for a fall feast and that The Helpful Masticator sent ya…maybe they’ll have our favorite server Aleyna take your table and make the experience as great as she makes it for us! 😃

My wife was running errands and stopped at Victoria's Bagel Bistro in Mount Laurel, NJ and brought me home some bagels to showcase!

*Preface: the sandwiches were about a half hour from the time picked up to the time I ate them.*

-Pork roll, egg & cheese on a cheddar jalapeño bagel…the eggs were cooked perfectly. The pork roll had a couple nice slices on it that wasn’t overwhelming. The bagel was good but didn’t taste any jalapeño really in it. It had good texture but just needed a little more taste to the bagel itself.

-Jalapeño cream cheese on everything bagel…the bagel was decent but it lacked the everything seasoning and definitely needed more on it. The jalapeño cream cheese…BAM!!! It was fantastic! Super fresh tasting and the jalapeño bits in it provided a fantastic pop of heat…actually the spiciest I’ve had in a while and I loved it! 🔥🔥🔥

My wifey’s bagels that I tried:

-Cinnamon crunch bagel with bacon, egg and cheese. This was fantastic! Crispy bacon, eggs cooked perfectly again and that bagel was soooo good! Great combo of salty and sweet!

-Blueberry bagel with their specialty cream cheese…FUNFETTI! If you have a sweet tooth then this is the one for you! The bagel was very flavorful and had a lot of blueberry flavor. The Funfetti cream cheese was so darn good! My sweets cravings have been satisfied today. lol. Highly recommend!

Other than the plain bagels needing just a little more flavor I think all 4 sandwiches were a hit! Definitely will be back very soon.
