Update: Sunday, July 4, 2025: CLOSED for the SEASON!! HELLO PICKERS!
We are sorry to announce that we are CLOSED for the 2025 season. The ripening berries are just not that plentiful and the birds are eating them as fast as they turn blue. We thank everyone for the interest you have shown and look forward to a better season next year.
HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY! ENJOY THE REST OF YOUR SUMMER!

Update SUNDAY, JUNE 29: CLOSED THIS WEEK
HELLO PICKERS! We are now closed again for a few days (we're all "picked out") . We'll give the later varieties some time to ripen up and, hopefully, try again. The plan is to re-open on Saturday, July 5, at 8am.
BUT, BE SURE TO CHECK THIS WEBSITE or our FACEBOOK PAGE before coming. If the late varieties are not worth picking, we will not re-open on Saturday. We will be monitoring the berries progress and will post another update by Friday. If you are uncertain or have questions, call us at 609-230-0622.

Update: June 10, 2025
Opening: June 20, 2025
THEY’RE TURNING BLUE !
HELLO PICKERS! Hope everyone survived the winter in good shape. Summer is here and another season is about to start. The berries are green and pink but beginning to show some blue. The farm will open for picking on Friday, June 20. We will be open from 8 am until 5 pm each day as long as the berries last.
Our last two seasons were quite short, and we suffered some significant damage from the drought conditions this past fall and winter, so it is likely that the 2025 season will also be brief. Better to come sooner rather than later. Hope to see you!

Update June 19, 2024: CLOSING FOR THE SEASON!
Hello everyone -We are sorry to say we will be closed after today. We've run out of berries to pick.
Certainly 2024 was not a great year, but it was better than last year, and we will continue to try to improve things so that, hopefully, each season will be better than the previous.
The season was definitely still too short - apologies to those who did not get the berries they wanted. There are some farms still picking. Try Bear Blueberries or the Haines Berry Farm if you're still wanting to pick some. We'll try again next year. Hope to see you all then!

Update June 20, 2024
Hello berry pickers!
So we have a small amount of Dukes left and a lot of Walcotts.
We will be open TODAY, Thursday, from 8am - 1pm. We then will be closed from 1pm tomorrow until Wednesday, June 26.
On June 26 , at 8am, we will open the Bluecrop fields. The Bluecrop are beautiful berries. You will like them.
If you want to go for the Dukes, you should wear good shoes and long pants - preferably denim or the like. And be prepared for a bit of a hike.
If you want to pick Walcotts - smaller but, in our opinion, tastier - much easier to get to, yet take longer to fill your bucket. Hope to see you!

Update June 12, 2024
Hello berry pickers -
The berries are ripening nicely, so we've decided to open this Sunday (June 16) at 8am. Yes, we know it's Father's Day -- but what better day for Dad than a bit of family time outdoors, followed by some ice cream topped with fresh blueberries, or some blueberry pie, or muffins, or pancakes ... well. you get the idea. If you can't make it Sunday, that's okay. After Sunday, we'll be open every day from 8am 'til 5pm, as long as the berries last.
Check our website (Fredplusthree.com) or our page for directions and updates. See you soon!

June 2, 2024 -- Opening day June 20 (?)
Hello everyone! Hope you've had a great year.
The blueberry picking season is rapidly approaching. We expect to begin picking on or about June 20, depending upon the weather and how quickly the berries ripen. The bushes are loaded. If the weather holds, this should be a good year.
We will update this page again in a week or two as the berries begin to turn blue and we decide on the exact opening date. Time to start planning to do your picking. Best to pick early and often!
Hope to see you all soon.

Hello Everyone! So we will NOT be opening up tomorrow (Sunday) as we had planned. We will remain closed this week, until Friday. We will reopen Friday, June 30th.
We have been watching the berries each day and they have not ripened as quickly as we had hoped. Too many cloudy days this past week. I don't want you all to come to the farm and be disappointed, so we've decided to change our plans and hold off reopening the farm for a few more days. Seems like anticipating the weather and its impact on the berries is getting harder each year! We're very sorry for any inconvenience. We are frustrated, as we want you all to get your berries! Hope to see you soon.

Subject: We're closed!

Hello Everyone!

We are picked out and will have to close for a few days!
Sorry, but we had a huge crowd Sunday (today), and they burned right through the Walcotts! We pruned them hard this
past spring (they really needed it), which reduced the size of the crop. That plus the size of the crowd - p**f, they were all gone!

The plan is to re-open on Sunday, June 25. There will be some additional Walcotts ripened by then and, more importantly,
we will open the Bluecrop field at that time.

As always, our hours are 8 am - 5 pm every day - while we have berries.

Best to get them early. Hope to see you!

🫐OPENING DAY- SUNDAY JUNE 18th 2023!🫐
🫐 Hello Everyone! The lack of a real winter and more recently the lack of rain made it difficult for us to predict when and how quickly the berries would ripen, hence the lateness of this notice, sorry. As always, we'll start with the Walcott variety - the berries are somewhat smaller but very sweet and tasty, ideal for baking, on ice cream or cereal, and in smoothies (also just by the handful). Come out to the farm and get some fresh air and some Blueberries! What better way to spend some quality time with Dad on Father's Day? If you can't make it on Sunday, remember: The picking season only lasts a few weeks, so don't delay too long!
