We have new fresh flowers and a dozen eggs set out! I’ll do my best to post when we are out of anything, but I have my granddaughter during the day so I’m not always able to check very often. 💗🙂
Thank you! 💐
* We are always happy to take any extra vases/jars, or egg cartons anyone may have. Just let leave them in the shop! 🙂

💐💐💐💐We have free flowers (vases included) until Sunday!! Take as many as you’d like!!!! I will do my best to replenish them when needed.
If you’re new here, every year the week of September 9th, we give away flowers. This is to honor the memory of Kolten’s Aunt Joanie (my sister) that joined the Angels 6 years ago.
Joanie was someone who loved to make other people’s day a little brighter and was always willing to help anyone who needed it. She did this with a smile on her face, even though she may have been in pain herself.
Joanie had HAE or Hereditary Angioedema. It’s rare, which is why it took years for her to get a diagnosis. The simplest explanation is that any time her body was under stress (be it an illness or emotional stress) her body would react by swelling both externally and internally. Advancements have been made in medications to help control the attacks, but there is no cure.
While we knew losing Joanie was a possibility, the day it happened was a shock. It wasn’t until recently that I realized that Kolten remembers details of that day.
So every year, we give away flowers so Joanie can still do what she did and put a smile on someone’s face and make their day a little brighter. We do it to bring joy to the day and the days surrounding it, to help with the pain we still and will always feel.

So please, stop by and grab some flowers. (We are still currently out of eggs, thanks to a broody Wanna-be Momma that keeps moving them and breaking them🤦🏻‍♀️)
Thank you!!

If anyone knows the person who called in the lions sighting, please let them know that this neighbor appreciates it. From what I know and have seen/read, I do believe they saw what they thought they saw.
At the very least, they saw something that shouldn’t be loose out here.
Believe what you want, but I’m thankful to know I have a neighbor that will be brave enough to make a call that they know is going to make them look and probably feel crazy, to keep their neighbors safe. 💗

Never thought I’d say this, but ….Kolten’s Kluckers is closed today due to the possibility of a mother lion and her cub being loose in the area. If you know anyone who lives near us or the Madison/Hancock county line please let them know to be cautious and keep their pets and kids inside.
