Warehouse worker-starting wage $19.00
Job Description:
Receive incoming goods
Loads and unloads trailers
Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received
Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
Accurately pick materials for according to production’s needs by reading make sheets and/or through oral instruction
Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information
Fills work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line
Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment
Communicate with associates from other shifts
Clean pallets prior to use
Sort broken pallets into separate area
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Complies with all safety requirements
Qualifications:
Must have a valid driver’s license
Forklift experience preferred
High school equivalent or equal preferred
Ability to self-start and work independently is critical
Good organizational skills
Flexible hours and ability to work overtime when needed
Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions required
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
Pre-employment drug screen including ma*****na required
This position is designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required
Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
