The best part of being an adult amateur/rogue nonpro? I get to experiment.

Professional trainers often have to follow tried and true programs. Even if something may be better than their current regimen they often cannot take the time to figure out how to add something new or tweak their program significantly without fear of losing income, progress or clients while they adjust. So they may wait until something is solidly proven before adopting it.

As an amateur, besides my own time constraints I don't have any big deadlines to hit. If I miss a show I more than likely save money than lose it 🤣.

Some might remember our rescue mare Java, who turned out to be Lil Wisp of Jo by San Jo Lena.

Well after spending a year recovering from the situation that ended her up with us we were able to successfully get her in foal on the first try to Catolena Cashin In.

Tomorrow, we can find out if that foal is a c**t or filly 🎉

Only 280 days to go 😅 so hopefully everything goes smoothly from here on out.
