Well I, Mrs. Bundy, am down for the count for a bit so Mr. Bundy and our 3 kids are picking up the slack and getting the 4 fields of hay in themselves today.
Note to self for future reference, make sure there are steps before you take a step down from somewhere! 😜🤣 Need to be seen for an ortho consult but initial claim is nothing is broken. Right ankle is the worst, extremely swollen & bruised and can bare no weight. Left ankle is swollen, but only a slight sprain.
I have been using the quads to get around the farm when need be, but I will not be going into the barn for a bit, as it's down hill to the door to get in and until I can use my right foot I cannot be out on the tractor doing field work. Guess I am thankful it happened when the kids are out of school though!
Just when I was thinking we were off to a good start for once this hay season 😑
