Interested in raw milk?

We will begin a new biweekly subscription service for Anna Belle Farm raw milk products on June 20.

What is a subscription?
Here at Sonrise Farms our subscriptions are an informal agreement between your family and our farm where you commit to purchase a specific quantity of product on a biweekly basis. No written contract; it’s like an old-fashioned “verbal” commitment or handshake.

Why Subscribe?
Raw milk is only available through subscription. It will not be sold in the farm store. Eggs can be purchased in the farm store, but subscribers will receive a discounted price on eggs.

Where?
Subscriptions are picked up at our on-farm store during store hours or in our self-serve area which is open 7 days/week from 6am-10pm.

You can begin at any time after June 20, but June 10th is the deadline if you want to be part of the first delivery date.

Please note: Anna Belle Farm’s organic, 100% grass-fed, raw Jersey milk and dairy products are produced on a small family farm in Rockville, Indiana, All products are labeled as pet food, "Not for Human Consumption." This labeling makes it legal to sell in Illinois.

My “Prince Farming” was waiting for me at the end of the driveway. He needed to drop off an anhydrous tank on the way to our anniversary dinner date. I told him that even after 37 years he was still my favorite farmer! ❤️ 🤣 ❤️

A few weeks ago I introduced you to the Lambert family who are now raising meat chickens for us.

We are really enjoying working with this young family. Their vision, enthusiasm, and work ethic is something we respect and admire greatly. They continually remind Dan and I of our "younger selves."

Here's a recent update from Jeff:

It's hard to believe the chicks are 20 days old today (5/25)! And, we moved them all out to pasture this morning.

It's always a relief when they finally graduate from the brooder to the pasture. It's like they're finally where they belong... and today was the perfect weather for day number 1 on pasture.

I'm pretty happy with the way the new brooder performed. My parents call it the Chicken Hilton. These birds appear to be the healthiest birds we've ever raised, coming out of the brooder.

It's been a major push to get the coops (outdoor pens) ready to go, but we got them ready just in time for the move-out this morning. Now, we begin our daily moves, and I can maybe get a few more hours of sleep now that everything is built and operational.

All in all, life is very good - we are very blessed to have this opportunity to raise chickens, and raise our children on this farm. Through all the work projects, there's a bunch of great moments I've had with my children (especially Abraham, the oldest) and my wife Paige. I'm living the dream!

Saturday Market is open 9am-1pm every Saturday all year!
