Hello friends and neighbors! As many of you may know, we grow the best blueberries 🫐 around! But what you may not know is that we also raise registered angus beef cattle. For those who care about where their food is sourced, you can not find better meat. Our cattle are raised on our ranch in Penn Valley, and spend their entire lives on fields kept green through the hard work of four generations of ranchers who were raised on this property as well. In the winter they eat hay grown here on fields you pass on the way to the berry patch. You can’t get more grass fed than that! Our cows live a relative life of luxury, and we believe lazy cows make the best beef! If you’d like to purchase some for your freezer, we will have a steer ready for pick up in the coming months (April or May). We sell by the quarter, half, or whole. Our price this year is $12/lb plus $80 packaging fee. All meat comes sealed and frozen, packaged in boxes. If you’re interested in reserving your cut, or have any questions, please message us! To get your name on the list, we require a $300 deposit per quarter. We look forward to hearing from our community again, as we get ready for another busy spring and summer. Enjoy this beautiful sunshine! ☀️

Good morning, friends!! What an amazing season we’ve had so far! As we near the end of this years harvest, we want to celebrate the Fourth of July by offering a sale this Thursday! U-pick berries will be only $5 a pound during our open hours! We will be closing at noon (Thursday only), however, so get here early and take advantage of the cool hours and unbeatable price. We intend to be open thru the following week, but will continue to update as we go.

See you at the patch! 🫐☀️💙

And when we’re not eating, picking, or tending blueberries, you might find us out picking up hay bales after dinner. 💕

As we are quickly approaching our opening day, we just want to say how excited we are to see everyone, and to mention a few reminders to help everyone have the best experience!

1) We are still learning how to manage our Facebook business page! We made an “event” post that has gotten a wonderful amount of likes and interest! But please do not feel that you must come on our opening day to be able to get berries this year! 😍 And in case anyone is wondering, we are not doing anything out of the ordinary the first day. We’ll be here as long as the season lasts, Sundays-Thursdays, 9am-4pm.

2) We are only accepting cash or check!
**U-pick price is $6 per pound.**

3) It is HOT! 🥵 Please bring sunscreen, hats, and water! A blanket or towel can be a great addition to enjoy the shade or to pick berries hiding in the lower parts of the bush.

4) PLEASE drive slowly, and follow the signs! We are a working ranch, and there can be farm equipment on our tiny dirt road, as well as lots of traffic during this time. Our road signs say 15 mph, however if you can see dust in your rear view, please consider slowing. Our wonderful neighbors thank you!

5) No pets!

See you at the berry patch!! ☀️🫐💕

This morning the whole herd decided they wanted to sneak out. I’m guessing they wanted to go get some blueberries before they’re gone! 😂 Here they go, back into the field they came from, without a single berry to show for their efforts.

Hello neighbors! You know that we grow the best blueberries around, but did you also know we raise cattle? And it’s also some of the best!

We currently have two quarters coming up for sale soon. Grass fed, grass finished. 100% Lazy Valley beef (meaning we grow our own hay, irrigate our own fields, and our cows are born and live on our heritage ranch from birth to slaughter). $300 deposit and $10/lb. Message me here first.
