We are having a very sweet time over here.
Charlotte is one month old, and we’re half way through Eric’s parental leave from work. I’m so grateful we have this time to bond as a family. Life is not without its challenges, obviously, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I’m starting to feel that I might survive parenting two kids once Eric is back at work 😂 I still don’t know how y’all do it, but I’m slowly easing into it. Yesterday I got Clay down for a nap while wearing Charlotte on the carrier which felt like a huge accomplishment.
My body is healing and I’m honoring a slow and steady recovery, but I’m also itching to get back to exercising more and yes, riding my dang horse!

These pictures are from an afternoon trip to the lower Yuba river yesterday, a special place we love to go to be in awe of nature. The picture of the jaw bone is from a chinook salmon. Look at those freaking teeth!

Alright, welcome to the world Charlotte Soleil Andreson!
She made her entrance at 2:43 am after a short and intense labor. 6 lbs, 14 oz of pure love. Somehow Clay slept through the whole ordeal on the other side of the bedroom wall.
We are tired, but proud and content. Eric supported me like a champ through the whole thing. I don’t think I could’ve done it without him. And a big shout out to for walking with us on this path with endless grace and strength. You ladies are truly heroes of the community.

Welcome to the family, Parker!
Clay and I found a tiny kitten all alone at the river on Friday. I went and borrowed a trap and was able to trap him that night and we brought him home Saturday. He’s taken a couple days to settle in but he’s the sweetest cat, doesn’t act wild at all. He wants to be right up in your business at all times. He’s a bit skinny but totally healthy besides that. Needless to say Clay is absolutely in love, and so are we. Looking forward to finally having a good mouser on the farm!

We are harvesting some GORGEOUS chrysanthemums out of the greenhouse right now, and they should continue for several weeks. They’re grown using organic methods and lots of love. Chrysanthemums have an amazing vase life, often looking perfect for almost two weeks.
Right now I’m offering large/long stem bunches for $10 each and also shorter mason jar bunches 3 for $15. You can get mixed varieties or request a whole bunch of all one variety if available.
I can also do bulk buckets if you have a craft project or DIY wedding or party to decorate for.

Located in Penn Valley. I Can accept cash, check, Venmo or Zelle. I’m also open to trading for home grown or homemade goods like produce, eggs, and especially fresh bread! Organic preferred obviously.

We had a great visit with and family in San Diego County this weekend. Traveling with a toddler obviously comes with its challenges, but it was so worth it to spend time with family and enjoy a little So Cal vacation. We ate good food, went to the beach and the and of course I explored a couple local health food stores.
Thank you to for holding down the fort so we could get outta town!
