What a weekend. What a ride. What a family.

We’re still feeling all the emotions after this unforgettable, bittersweet weekend. Closing the taproom doors was extremely hard - but the outpouring of love, laughter, and support from all of you made it so much sweeter. From longtime regulars to brand new faces, you filled the place with warmth, stories, and the kind of energy that reminds us why we fell in love with this crazy adventure in the first place.

Thank you for showing up, for cheering us on, for every hug, high-five, and shared pint. You’ve become more than customers - you’re lifelong friends, and part of the Relative Risk story forever.

While this chapter has closed, we’re far from done. We still plan to keep brewing and can’t wait to share what’s next. Please continue to follow along - the next round’s just getting started.

Yesterday’s love was something else. Thank you for showing up big with hugs, laughs, full plates, and prize-winning energy that left us absolutely speechless (and definitely a little emotional).

Today, the sun’s out, the games are on, the firepits are rippin', and it feels like the universe knew we needed one perfect last hurrah. It’s a prime Sunday Funday setup - football on the screens, cold beers in hand, free food and prizes, and the playground packed with happy kids and four-legged sidekicks living their best lives.

We couldn’t have dreamed up a better way to wrap this up here - surrounded by our people, our pups, and the place that started it all. Thank you for every ounce of love, support, and fun you’ve poured into this taproom.

Here’s to soaking up one more sunny, laughter-filled day together in our current space - the kind of day we’ll be talking about for a long, long time. Open 12-5pm and we really hope to see you all soon!

We’re so excited for this next chapter…we’ve decided to give away all our stuff to celebrate! That’s right - free merch, beer, food, and fun all weekend long, because why pack it up when we can give it to YOU, our favorite people on the planet?

Every hour on the hour, we’ll pull a card from open tabs - if it’s yours, you get to spin our glorious prize wheel and win something amazing (or at least mildly entertaining).

Free smoked brisket and pork sammies with the purchase of every pint - made with the world's best meat from the meat masters at Bostrom Farms. And live music from one of our taproom faves - Ryan Consiglio from 4-7PM - because nothing pairs better with free food and free stuff than live music and good friends.

Come raise a glass with us - we’re not just closing a chapter, we’re celebrating the whole damn book. Open til 8pm and tomorrow from 12-5pm. Hope to see you soon!!

We’re not sure what’s more chilling...the howl of the October wind…or realizing this is our LAST Friday night at the taproom.

Come join us tonight to watch Hocus Pocus on the big lawn screen at 6:30pm, sip something witchy, eat something spicy, and pretend the goosebumps are from the cold and not your feelings. La Monarka is here slinging wickedly good flautas, the firepits are crackling, and we’ve got hot cocoa (with or without the magic potion of your choice).

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, coats, and cozy loved ones and get ready to snuggle up and get spooked. Hope to see you sooooooooon!

Well, this is awkward. We really wanted to pour you a beer today...but the universe had other plans. Due to some last-minute chaos, the taproom will be CLOSED today.

But hey - silver lining! That just means we’re saving all the good vibes (and the ridiculously awesome prizes) for next weekend, which also happens to be our LAST weekend. Cue the dramatic music and sentimental tears.

Thanks for rolling with us - we can’t wait to see you next weekend!

It’s Freaky Friday Movie Night, which means you can stop pretending you had other plans and come sink your fangs into the world’s best Mexican food from La Monarka. We’ll be showing The Witches with Anne Hathaway at 6pm - because nothing says cozy October night like watching kids get turned into mice while you inhale nachos.

Bring blankets, lawn chairs, and a cauldron-sized appetite. We’ve got potions (beer, wine, cocktails), elixirs for the non-boo-zy, and hot cocoa and juice for the tiny ghouls and goblins. And with temps in the 70s / high 60s, it’s the perfect night to wrap up like a mummy, howl at the moon, and enjoy some fang-tastic fun.

So grab your broomstick (or minivan) and fly on over. Free admission. Hope to see you soon!

Only 6 days left in our taproom…and we’re feeling all the feels. Excited? Absolutely. Sad? You bet. But we still have a few more chances to make memories with you before we close our doors on October 12.

First up: Freaky Friday Movie Nights! Grab the world’s best Mexican food from La Monarka and join us for:

The Witches – Friday, October 3 at 6pm
Hocus Pocus – Friday, October 10 at 6pm

And don’t miss our Two-Day Farewell Bash October 11 & 12 – music, food, beer, wine, and some very special thank-you giveaways. It’s our way of raising a glass (or three) to all the memories we’ve shared.

Come for the drinks, stay for the nostalgia, leave with a smile (and maybe a little tear). Open Friday 2-8pm, Saturday 12-8pm, and Sunday 12-5pm, this weekend and next. Hope to see you soon!

The Saints might come marching in at 1pm…but the Bills are ready to send them marching right back out. We’ve got free hot dogs, $5 lagers of any kind, sunshine on tap, plus the playground and dog park open 12–5pm. Bring your fans big and small (and furry), and let’s make some noise - because nothing pairs with victory like beer and hot dogs. Go Bills!

9 Mile Oktoberfest is TOMORROW!

We’ve got the wurst kind of problem - too much good stuff packed into one day! From live music to food, stein hoists, costume + pretzel eating contests, it’s a full schedule of Bavarian-style fun.

Check the photos for the complete lineups at both breweries, then plan your route wisely (pretzels first, polka later) - via the FREE shuttle between taprooms all day long.

Prost to music, beer, and the best kind of Oktoberfest mayhem!

Tomorrow (Friday, 9/26) we’re pulling the ol’ shift shuffle - wrapping up one job before we clock in at the brewery. Doors open an hour later, 4-8pm.

Fewer hours, same amount of beer…we just condensed the fun like a fine reduction sauce.

The countdown is on…we’re just 4 days away from our epic 9 Mile Oktoberfest with Laurentide Beer Company!

Here’s why you should clear your weekend plans now:

1) Big fundraiser alert – thanks to the generosity of Bostrom Farms, every brat cooked by the Bellona Volunteer Fire Company is fully donated, as well as a portion of beer sales at Relative Risk. That means 100% of food proceeds go straight to BVFC. Eat a brat, save a truck.

2) The Syracuse German Oktoberfest Band & Dancers are back, bringing all the oompa, hops, and hüftschwung (that’s “hip action,” if you didn’t know).

3) Stein Hoist Showdowns – One for the gals, one for the guys. Same stein weight. Same glory. No excuses. Get your “bier muscles” ready.

4) Pop-up vendors! Local makers may be setting up shop – perfect for snagging some amazing goods between steins.

5) FREE shuttle from Relative Risk to Laurentide, 12–9pm. Ride like a true beer king – no parking stress required.

6) Best Dressed Prize – grab your dirndl, lederhosen, or whatever says “Oktoberfest chic.” Extra points if you roll up like you’re straight out of Bavaria.

It’s all happening THIS SATURDAY. You bring the fest spirit, we’ll bring the beer. Prost!

We’re thrilled that our 9 Mile Oktoberfest celebration with Laurentide Beer Company will once again host a giant fundraiser for the Bellona Volunteer Fire Company. And for the second year in a row, our friends at Bostrom Farms have shown incredible generosity by donating all the brats that the Fire Dept will be grilling up at Relative Risk.

That means every single bite you enjoy goes right back into supporting our local heroes at BFD.

So come hungry, come thirsty, and know that your bratwurst cravings are fueling something bigger. Thank you, Bostrom Farms, for making this tradition possible two years running - you’re the best in the wurst way.
