Have you visited America’s Wine Region of the Year yet?

Wine Enthusiast named the Finger Lakes its 2025 American Wine Region of the Year; and the Keuka Lake Wine Trail is at the heart of it.

Established in 1985, the Trail celebrated 40 years in 2025 and brings together six member wineries along the shores of Y-shaped Keuka Lake- one of the birthplaces of American wine, where grape growing stretches back to the 1800s and the hillsides still tell that story today.

Each winery offers its own take on what this region does best: cool-climate wines shaped by glacial soils, generations of family farming, and a winemaking tradition that keeps earning national attention.

Meet the Trail:
Heron Hill Winery: Sustainably farmed since 1977, with a tasting room named one of the most spectacular in the world by Travel + Leisure

Agricolae Estate Winery : An old-world-style farm winery from the award-winning Ravines, celebrating the people behind the vines

Keuka Spring Vineyards: Estate-driven wines and genuine hospitality, refreshed under new family ownership

Vineyard View Winery: A fifth-generation vineyard dating back to 1893, with panoramic lake views

Domaine Leseurre Winery: Six generations of French winemaking tradition on the Keuka Lake bluff

Weis Vineyards: German heritage meets the Finger Lakes, and a three-time New York State Winery of the Year

Whether you’ve been here before or you’re planning your first visit, come see what earned the national spotlight!

Ever picked a wine based on the label and hoped for the best?

We’ve all been there. Wine can feel like a lot when you’re trying to figure out what you’ll actually enjoy- especially when “dry,” “crisp,” and “fruit-forward” don’t tell you much when you haven't had a lot of wine before.

That’s where a day along the Keuka Lake Wine Trail comes in! Gather your friends, take in the lake views, and explore the wines that you might actually enjoy.

Prefer something bright and refreshing? Love a little sweetness? Looking for bubbles? There is no right answer- only what you enjoy. 🥂

Our family-owned wineries make it easy to slow down, ask questions, try something new, and turn a maybe into a new favorite. Comment PLAN to start planning your visit today!

It's 5PM on a Friday and the light on Keuka is sparkling on the water below. 🌅 If you're not on a patio with a glass right now, you're planning your next visit.

August evenings on the lake are the ones we remember in the cold of February. Some of our six member wineries are open later on the weekends with live music, giving you the perfect reason to enjoy the view with a glass of wine in hand a little later in the day. Pick a spot, order a glass, enjoy the view.

In 2011, Domaine Leseurre Winery was still just an idea. Céline and Sébastien LeSeurre had come to the Finger Lakes on a wine trip- and ultimately decided not to leave.

Sébastien is a sixth-generation winemaker from Champagne, France, with six years of formal training in viticulture and oenology. Céline grew up working harvest in her family's vineyards in the foothills of the Pyrénées. They met on a harvest in New Zealand and made wine in France and Australia before choosing Keuka Lake as the place to build something of their own.

Their first vintage was 2012, and the tasting room opened a year later on the lake's east side, just north of Hammondsport. Today, Domaine LeSeurre focuses on dry, terroir-driven wines, made from grapes selected from distinct vineyard sites across the region- French technique applied to Finger Lakes fruit, poured in a tasting room perched above Keuka's east shore.

Six generations of Champagne winemaking, a 2011 wine trip that turned into a move, and more than thirty wines on the list today. 🥂

Big congratulations to our friends at Weis Vineyards on being named 2026 New York State Winery of the Year! 🥂

This is their third Winery of the Year win in a row, and their fourth overall. That kind of recognition does not happen by accident. It comes from a team that brings real care, knowledge, and hard work to every bottle.

From their 2024 Riesling Ice Wine, named Best Dessert Wine, to their 2025 Zweigelt Dry Rosé, named Best Pink and Best Rosé, Weis had an incredible showing this year.

We’re proud to have Weis Vineyards as part of the Keuka Lake Wine Trail. Congratulations to the whole team on a well-earned win!

Summer doesn't last forever- although we wish it would somedays 🌞

There are a few good weeks of summer left on Keuka- the winery patios are still full, the lake's still warm enough to swim, and all six wineries are pouring your favorite wines. If you've been saying we should get out there since June, this is the part where you actually do it. 😀

Choose a day, enjoy a few tastings, lunch on the lake, a glass with a view before the season changes to fall.

So- when's your last visit of the summer?
