Our Story

After starting a coffee stand at The Windmill Craft & Farm Market, Boris Polon decided he also wanted to roast his own coffee to use. He purchased a small roaster and developed most of the roasting technique we still use today. When Boris moved to Costa Rica in 2011, the business was purchased by the Ninos family, who continued to run the company until 2018 when it was acquired by Oak Hill Bulk Foods. The roasting facility was moved into a beautiful, brand new space at Oak Hill. Our main retail area is here at Oak Hill where fresh roasted coffee can be found on the shelf and by the cup at Oak Leaf Cafe. We no longer run the coffee shop at The Windmill but have continued to provide quality coffee to area stores, local restaurants, coffee shops and online customers. Our future goal is to continue delivering quality coffee to present customers while adding lighter roasts and more varietals to our brand. Thanks for being a part of our journey!
