🌽🌽🌽Heads up!!! The end of our fresh sweet corn season is nearing an end, sadly! Honestly… we look forward to sweet corn season every year, and are always surprised by how quickly it comes and goes. We have lowered the price…3 ears for $1.25. Stop by…and while you’re here, check out the refrigerator as I try to keep it stocked with fresh baked goods. In honor of the fall season, I made some pumpkin bread with streusel and glaze…and some oatmeal pumpkin cookies with chocolate chips. You never know the sweet baked goods you might find in that little refrigerator 🍪🎂🍰😋. And once again, we so appreciate you stopping by 🌽😃. Happy September, everyone!

September…Wow! We have been away for a Grandson’s wedding out of state for several days. If you found the stand a little sparse when stopping, that’s why. We did have a friend restocking the sweet corn in our absence, for which we are very thankful! But we will try to get caught up and replenish the stand with some fresh picked corn and tomatoes and baked goods in the refrigerator! Thanks again for your patience and stopping by 😊! Happy September!

Just a quick update on the sweet corn…Jerry refreshed the stand with sweet corn from the latest planting…it’s sweet and tender just like I (Judi) like it…the last of the fresh sweet corn season is only a few weeks away…hard to believe!
Lots and lots of cherry tomatoes on the stand also…and baked goods in the refrigerator…plus zucchini and string beans and peppers also! Enjoy the couple weeks we have left of summer ☀️

Good Monday morning! We did manage to find a couple dozen ears of corn for the stand today. We are currently between plantings so the sweet corn will be scarce here until probably Thursday. We got an inch of rain overnight which is a blessing. But there are still home baked goods in the refrigerator…along with string beans, cucumbers and peppers. And several bags of cherry tomatoes with regular vine ripened tomatoes on the veg stand.
Always happy to have you stop by 🥒🫑🍅🍪🍰🌽😃

We are well into the sweet corn season…there is plenty on the stand…and it’s delicious 😋! We are starting to harvest a few more tomatoes along with the cherry tomatoes. 🍅 We had an overflow of string beans in the garden, so there are some bags in the refrigerator. $2.50/bag. And of course there’s almost always some sweet baked goods in the refrigerator! Stop by and hope you are enjoying the steamy summer weather ☀️

We finally found enough sweet corn to put on the vegetable stand today! We thought we might have some earlier this week but we had a wet cool week which slowed the ripening process! The tomatoes are ripening slowly also, but we are starting to harvest more every day. Stop by…cukes 🥒and peppers 🫑in refrigerator. And check out the baked goods in the fridge…cookies in freezer section 🍪🎂🍰😊

Happy summer, everyone! We hope you are doing well and trying to stay cool in this steamy weather🌞. We apologize that we haven’t updated recently. We had 3 weeks with out of state grandchildren and had to put the vegetable stand on hold. The veggies are just starting to produce, and the sweet corn is starting to tassel, so we’re thinking about 2 and 1/2 to 3 weeks before it’s ready for the stand. It’s hard to believe we are already half way through July.
I also wanted to mention that I will be adding some fresh homemade baked goods. I’ll be sure to have some in the refrigerator on the stand on Wednesday, July 15. Cookies, frosted brownies—-banana, lemon blueberry, and raspberry cream cheese breads when I have them. I also wanted to add that I have been using clear plastic containers for the breads. They cost me 50 cents apiece, and I have to pass the price on when selling them. So I have decided that I will package them in paper bowls to alleviate the cost for everyone. Breads will be $3.50 to $4 per loaf, depending on what I add to them. Thank you to everyone who stops by and we wish you a safe and blessed rest of your summer! Jerry and Judi Wohlschlegel

Had some fun making these. And there are a few other flowering vases still on the stand that would make wonderful gifts. Plus you might find some home baked goods in the refrigerator. Veggies are not quite there yet, but maybe in the next couple weeks we’ll have some🍅🥒Stop by if you get a chance. 2878 Coates Rd

Yay!! It’s May!! Although the weather has its highs and lows this time of year, we have been busy filling vases and baskets with beautiful spring flowers. There are many to choose from, and we will be adding new ones every day. With Mother’s Day coming soon, a beautiful unique planter would bring heartfelt smiles and appreciation and a wonderful way to express gratitude to her for all she has done. We would love to have you stop by! We also have been working on some Keuka Lake mosaic planters. We will be adding them next week as they are still not quite finished. We also have Venmo available which is posted on the little refrigerator on the stand for your convenience. Happy spring everyone!!

Hi everyone! It sure is feeling like fall out there 🍂🍁💨. Our veggies and squash and gourds are getting sparse on the stand. However we still have a few squash left…mostly some carnival and a few acorn. We cleaned up our garden last week for 2025. So there are a few small tomatoes 🍅 and we are adding a few small peppers 🫑 that we harvested on the stand for FREE, if anyone is interested.
We just wanted to thank everyone who stopped by this year and enjoyed our spring planters, vegetables and baked goods. We so appreciate you❣️. We also thank our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for His many blessings and allowing us the opportunity to share the abundance of our garden. Hopefully, Lord willing, we will be able to do this again in 2026. Have a great rest of your fall and winter! Blessings 🙏🏻💕. Jerry and Judi W.
