We are at the Evans' Acres Mini Farm, LLC fall festival this afternoon from 1pm to 7pm and tomorrow from 10am to 6pm! We will be selling our duck eggs in full and half dozen counts and we also have some fresh homemade bread, dinner rolls, and cookies. Come on down and have some fun!

Duck fact!!
Ducks are more disease and parasite resistant than chickens due to the fact that they wash themselves in water and not just dust.

They grow up so fast!! We had these adorable babies hatch on 6/17 and look how big they have gotten!
We hoping for one of our laying ducks to go broody so we will have more babies on the way.
These ducks are known as Muscovy ducks. Fun fact they are neither duck nor goose, they are a large perching water fowl from South America.

Here at Bywater Duck Ranch we would like to think of ourselves as a family business/farm. Even our kiddos love getting outside and feeding the birds and collecting the eggs. Duck egg fun fact!
Duck eggs are higher in alkaline, meaning they leave your body less acidic after eating them. This helps cancer patients, as cancer cells do not thrive in an alkaline environment.

I figured I would introduce you to some of the many animals on our little farm. Today I introduce you to Zeus and Mars. Zeus is a German shepherd and almost a year old. Mars is heeler/border collie/McNabb mix and he is around 3 years old. These good boys are the loyal and friendly guard dogs that protect our flock.

We are selling our eggs for $7.50/dozen, and that price is just to help us cover the cost of feed. We are willing to deliver but there is a delivery fee that is determined on the distance we would have to go.
