Back of the truck is loaded down with the last part of today’s haul. Right now, these roots are still wearing a little bit of the field—but the real magic happens next.

We are heading into the wash station to clean, process, and pack all this gorgeous produce so it's pristine and ready for you tomorrow morning at the Transylvania Farmers Market.

Along with these beauties, we'll also have:

-Roots: A fresh round of carrots, sweet beets, hakurei turnips, and ninja radishes
-Last call for spring: Cabbage and cauliflower
-Crunch & flavor: Kohlrabi, fennel, and green onions
-Salad & greens: Lettuce mix, lettuce heads, arugula, zesty Asian mix, kale, collards, and Swiss chard
-Fresh herbs: Basil, cilantro, dill, mint, and parsley
-First peek of summer: A few squash and bell peppers..and plenty more farm-fresh goodness including more plant starts like tomatoes and herbs.

Hooray for the rain! We’ve officially collected almost 1.5" in the last 24 hours, and the fields are soaking it up like a sponge. It’s a welcome sight that gives our irrigation duties a much-needed break and has turned the farm into the most brilliant shade of green.

Both spring and summer crops are looking stellar and our fields are just bursting with life!

This week in the produce department:

Our latest round of spinach is popping and looking incredibly lush—truly the greenest of greens.

Kales and collards are crushing it, our new radishes are crunchy and bright and we finally have our very first beets of the season! (If we're sold out online, come find us at the market!)

Our head lettuces are so big this week, you might just lose your head!

Fresh cilantro, dill, and bok choy are all ready for your kitchen.

We've got lots of supply, so if you don't get to ordering, just stop by and see us on Saturday from 9 am to noon.
