We finally got the new pasture finished and moved the girls over! Gretchen is our only non-halter-broke cow, so moving her was definitely a bit nerve wracking. We were able to block one side of the driveway off pretty well, but the other side was a bit more open. We had already moved the other girls over so she could see where she was headed, but it was undeniably nerve wracking. While she didn't have a halter on, the way she walked calmly with our guidance was truly incredible. I continue to be amazed by the bond we have been able to build with this cow who came to us wild only a little over a year ago. I love our big Gretchen girl so much, and am so grateful for the trust she puts in us to give her to best life we can ♥️
