WOW 😍 Casa Agave in Peoria Heights really shined tonight! 🙌 and of course my beautiful date did, too 🔥

We loved the vibe and all the food and drinks we got were top notch. Here were some of our favorites!

- Esquite: An appetizer of roasted corn with cotija cheese, mayo, chili powder and lime. I could eat this all the time! It was amazing.
- The Camarones Al Ajillo (shrimp) were the best restaurant shrimp I’ve ever had. No doubt. Chargrilled tiger shrimp with garlic butter and salsa macha. The cilantro-lime rice served with it was really good, too!
- The drinks! 🍹 I tried the prickly pear margarita as well as the blood orange. SO GOOD! Rachel enjoyed an orange creamsicle mocktail.
- Pulpo Asado (GRILLED OCTOPUS 🐙) Yes, seafood fans - this was great! The chargrilled octopus was a great touch.
- Pollo Con Rajas (chicken) substitute queso and get the mole verde on the side! This was Rachel’s dish and she said it was delicious!

Overall the service and atmosphere were terrific. I was also very impressed by the food! 🥘

Definitely a great spot to try in The Heights! Give em a try and remember to support your local restaurant this week!
