Nice surprise in the latest Holstein International. Top young sire in Germany is this young bull, Arizona, who descends from embryos we exported to Germany in 2013. He has an uncanny resemblance to the family matriarch Ramos Toward. Awesome to see this family contributing to genetics worldwide today.

In 2013 we exported 10 embryos to Germany from a yearling Sudan hfr named Touche 1022. Thrilled to learn yesterday that a polled, red carrier descendant by Foreman from those original embryos brought 70k Euro at a recent German sale. The homebred family anchored by Pride Ramos Toward 412 breeds on around the world! The cow pictured is Lawn Boy 829 VG 88, the dam of Sudan Touche. Both Today and Touche made 33000 milk with 3.3% protein, and the next dam is Ramos Toward Ex 90 with 42000 milk, then Addison Twang VG 87 with 46000milk. Generations of the right kind!

We have a group of 15 springing hfrs due between December 27th and February 24th. 2 due in December, 8 in January, 5 due in February. 9 bred to sexed Holstein semen, 2 to Angus. Numerous dams scored VG, records on dams to 43000 milk. Sired by Passat,Loyal-P, Yolo, Tabasco, Batman, Noble. 2 sired by homebred bulls. Headlocks and sand bedded freestalls trained. We have 40 plus bred heifers due in the next 4 months. All AI sired, and all but 1 AI bred. 3 due in August, 5 September, 7 October, 14 November, and 13 due in December. Sires include Diamondback, ABS Crimson, Yolo, Luster-P, Webster-P, Josuper, Whisker, Caruba-P etc. Service sires include AccelOdin, Sidekick, Mirand-PP, Mr Mogul Delta, Endeavor, Macnutt-PP, Allday-PP. All but a handful are ultrasounded and sexed. These are homebred and raised in freestalls and headlocks, calfhood vaccinated. 28 years Progressive Genetics Award and 28,000 # herd.
