Back by Popular Demand — Maple Weekends Continue! 🌟

Wow… what an incredible Maple Weekend we just had! Because so many of you came out to visit the sugarhouse, watch the sap boil, and taste fresh maple goodness, we’re doing two more Maple Weekends at Kimstead Farm! 🍁

Come experience the magic of maple season:

🧇Enjoy waffles as well as a few more surprise treats
🔥 See the evaporator in action as we turn sap into liquid gold
🍁 Taste fresh maple syrup right from the farm
🐐 Visit the farm animals
🚜 Snap photos with the tractors and other "vintage farm" items
🌿 Soak up a beautiful late-winter day on the farm

If you missed the first weekend, this is your chance! And if you joined us already… come back and see how much more sap we’ve turned into syrup.

Open Sugar House this Saturday 3/7 and Sunday 3/8 from 10-4. Learn how maple syrup is made and enjoy a waffle with fresh from the evaporator maple syrup. Kimstead Farm products and food items will be available for purchase. If you can't make it this weekend, we'll also be having an Open Sugar House on Saturday 3/21 and Sunday 3/22. Hope to see you there!

Hello Open Barn Volunteers,

Despite the weather, we pulled off another successful fundraiser for Nevins Farm!
We welcomed approximately 100 visitors and raised an incredible $1,304.
Compared to last year — over 300 visitors and $2,650 raised — we did better than expected, even in the rain!

None of it would have been possible without each and every one of you.
So where do I start?

NMHS Honor Society Students:
To Rebekah and all the NMHS students and staff — thank you for your help setting up, your energy running activities, your enthusiasm with the kids, your bake sale donations, and your strength during clean-up.
My achy muscles truly appreciate all your hard work and positive energy. I can't wait to work with you again next year!

Janeen Jones:
The time, effort, and love you pour into creating magical experiences — from princess visits to face painting to hair extensions — is simply unmatched.
The event day is just the tip of the iceberg compared to the hours you spend planning and coordinating.
A huge thank you as well to your incredible team — Sue, Cheryl, Alicia (Elsa), Becky (Belle), and McKenna — for bringing it all to life!

Gianna C, Marlene E, and Linda B:
Thank you for running the food stand so smoothly!
Gianna, you can rock a grill and a waffle maker like a pro — and you always show up for Kimstead Farm.

Hello Kimstead Friends,

The Open Barn will go off tomorrow, rain or shine. Unless there is a total turnaround in the weather, we won't have hayrides or pony rides. What we will have are our baby goats, Bessie our mini-cow, and the rest of our 4 legged crew. Everything and everyone will be under cover. Lots of food, face painting, photo ops with princesses, hair braiding, games and more. Come out and support our fundraiser for Nevins Farm, just wear your rain gear! Hope to see you all!
