🍷 WE’RE ALSO NOW HIRING!

We’re looking for someone with retail experience to help with a variety of duties around our vineyard.

We’re a small, laid-back vineyard, and this position is a good opportunity for someone looking to supplement their income or earn some extra cash. This is not a large full-time income position, so we want to be upfront about that from the beginning.

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, friendly, has reliable transportation, is comfortable handling cash and working with customers, and is willing to pitch in wherever needed.

This is a multi-duty position, which may include:

• Running the cash register and handling cash
• Helping customers in our retail area
• Helping with yard work and keeping the grounds looking nice
• Assisting with making w**e
• Helping with bottling and labeling
• Keeping things clean and organized
• Helping wherever needed and taking on other duties as requested
• Helping us come up with ways to bring more people through the vineyard
• Assisting with Facebook posts and social media to help promote the vineyard and our products

We’re a small business, so we’re looking for someone who is willing to wear different hats and help us grow. If you have good ideas for bringing in more customers, promoting our products, creating Facebook posts, or getting people excited about visiting the vineyard, we’d love to hear them!

We are very saddened to learn of the loss of Chef Henry Douglas. Perdido Vineyards will greatly miss his presence when Bishop State Culinary students and instructors make their annual trips to Perdido Vineyards.

He carried an energy about him that was contagious and it was evident that he put an eagerness in his students to learn, as they very much looked up to and respected him.

It was an observation that was hard to miss and we know his family, friends, church, students,
co-workers, community, so many others and those who had chance encounters with him but lasting impressions are suffering a great loss and we send our condolences to all.

We are calling on The Great Comforter to give all who held him dear and those he held close a feeling of peace like no other that it may sustain and comfort all hearts and minds for as long as necessary to help all hearts heal, to calm all fears, and to calm all anxiousness.
