Let the 2025 giant pumpkin season begin! I'm starting twelve 460 Mayes/Fanning seeds. It's the state record crossed with itself. Pumpkin was only 40 days old and sat in a barn for over a month before it was weighed. It should be a good seed for Oklahoma.

Entire backyard has been tilled and amended

Ok so this season is going to be less than optimal, but we are going to attempt to grow a couple of giants in the backyard of our rent house.

I had the lines marked, and I put down cement pavers to mark the lines.

Going to till it up and do a quick mustard cover crop before we plant the giants.

As I said this grow isn't going to be perfect by any stretch, but it will be a fun little challenge and the kids have been begging me to grow one.
