Before her whole world changed… I wanted to give her one very special day. ❤️

I’m a little late sharing this one—it’s from a baby shower I hosted over a year ago—but some memories are just too sweet not to share.

I absolutely love doing baby showers. There’s something so special about celebrating a mama-to-be and giving her a day where she gets to be spoiled, surrounded by people who love her, and reminded of just how special she is.

And of course… there had to be food. Lots of it. 😉
I love cooking for people almost as much as I love bringing people together around a table.

This one was such a fun one to put together, and I’m so happy I get to look back on it.

🐣 HATCH WATCH 🐣

The Serama Macbeth Group — hatched 8/18/2026!

They’re 2 weeks old already! 🥹 Their wing feathers are really starting to develop, and they’ve become noticeably busier little birds. They love spending time with Puck and Poe, and their individual personalities are beginning to peek through. ❤️

For now, they have temporary Shakespearean names until I know for sure who’s a little rooster and who’s a little hen. 🎭🐥

I can’t wait to see how these five develop!

Some recipes are more than recipes. They’re memories. ❤️

This is my Grandma Pehrson’s Chicken Casserole—the one she always seemed to have waiting for me in her magic freezer.

It was my favorite thing she made, and somehow, no matter how long it had been since I’d seen her, that casserole made me feel like I was home.

Today I made one for myself, following her recipe and thinking about her with every step.

Grandma may be gone, but the love she put into feeding her family is still here.

Sometimes a blessing comes out of the oven. ❤️

Serama breeders… I NEED YOUR HELP. 👀🐓

Milady, Commander & Puck are officially in training for their first show—and I know enough to know that I have A LOT to learn. 😂

I want to do right by these little birds, so I’m asking the experienced Serama breeders:

What would you be doing NOW to get these three show-ready?

Conditioning? Training? Handling? Feeding? Grooming? Table practice?
Tell me everything. ⬇️

And if you see something I need to work on, please tell me. I genuinely want the guidance.
