Meet the newest member of our little family herd. Our cow Wishbone had a nice IGWT bull calf right before church. This big boy was up and nursing in less than 10 minutes of birth. Momma and baby doing good. They are getting some rest under the fans away from this heatwave we been having. I love this time of year getting to see new life and watching the babies play and enjoying their lives. Stay tuned more to come.

We want to thank the Atkinson family for believing in our program. They got a sweet tempered steer to start their daughter’s cattle showing journey. She is a first time showman walking him right into the trailer like she has been doing it her whole life. Can’t wait to see how they do this season.

Breaux Cattle Company wants to thank Summer Edwards for putting together the Southern Select Prospect Sale yesterday. We also want to thank everyone that came out and help make it possible, and for everyone that helped yesterday. It was a beautiful day with great people, good food, and even better cattle. Magnolia Valley Farm and Pond Creek Show Cattle we enjoyed the opportunity to come together for this sale and hope for many more.
