We had a lot of fun at the Minnesota Beef Expo and met several new British White families and got to spend time with ones we wish we could see more. Unfortunately Diamond didn’t enjoy the trip or her first night there because after that she was not happy at all. Savannah did get to participate in showmanship thank you to Rice Creek Acres for allowing her to use their heifer Little May. And enjoyed helping and cheering on her friends. Diamond is now doing good at A-OH-K Ranch with a great family Andy and Kayla Cohrs adding new blood into there herd and we got bring home A-OK-K Cohrs Ranch Phoebe adding new blood to our small herd and for Savannah to love on.
Thank you Sarah Smith and Jett Smith for the invite.

Diamond finally got her ear pierced! Thank you to Scissortail Meadows for the beautiful tag! We are getting Diamond ready for Minnesota Beef Expo.

Last night we tied all six calves up two bulls Top Cat and Secret Admirer, and the heifer Emerald. It was the first time being tied for those three. Then Zoey from Sandhill Farm and Diamond and Wade the steer. The three newbies did pretty good for the first time. Sorry about the quality of the pictures it got dark wanted to get some good pictures of them. I need to take some lessons from Janet Woods lol

We got 3 cows and 1 heifer all bred via AI. So fingers crossed they all stick it’s been so hot wasn’t sure if they would come in but they did and the heifer is bred to Terra Rubra Farms CoolCat, 2 of the cows Ruby and Blue are bred to Vicki Van Horn The Ultimate and our unregistered cow Bella is bred to a short horn embryo from the Lewis Family Cattle. We want to thank Brennan Lewis for taking care of us the whole Lewis family are great and raise great show cattle!!!

Hopefully we’re all set for winter but hopefully we start getting rain so we don’t have to start feeding hay sooner.
