The last of the long yearling bulls were delivered today to customers. Thank you to all who have purchased bulls from us! We look forward to hearing about your calf crops and are here to support you.
This is a group we have been exceptionally proud of. I like to check various stats to understand the direction our program is headed. I thought it’d be fun to share a few here.
Of the Spring 2025-born bulls:
• Two Gelbvieh bulls and one Balancer were retained for in herd use
• 25% were the result of Embryo transfer and an additional 42% out of AI sires
• 46% were purebred Gelbvieh (75% Gelbvieh or higher) and 54% Balancer
• Bulls sold to three states: Oklahoma, Missouri, and Texas
• 43% of bulls sold to repeat bull customers
• 71% sold in groups of two or more to the same buyer
