Exciting news!! Oskaloosa Elementary will be hosting a Garden Expo this Saturday, May 2nd from 9-12. There will information on farm to plate where you could provide students with your own home grown produce or meat! Also on hand will be master gardener speakers, student displays, starter plants you can take home and refreshments!! We are very proud of this new venture and would love to see you there! 🥕🍎🥔🍅

These piglets won’t stay little for long. By this summer, they’ll be heading in for processing—and right now they’re living the good life out on pasture.

We move our pigs at least every week and a half onto fresh pasture to keep them ahead of the parasite cycle and give them clean ground to root and graze. They’ve got plenty of space, sunshine, and fresh air, and we do not use any vaccines. They’re fed a nonGMO feed and raised in a low-stress environment where they can just be pigs.

If you’ve been thinking about filling your freezer with high-quality pork, now’s the time. We’ve got a limited number of halves and wholes available for summer—send us a message and we’ll get you on the list.

We’re excited to welcome 11 new piglets to the pasture — lots of tiny snouts, squeals, and zoomies going on around here. Moments like this never get old.

At the same time, we sent three pigs to the processor, which means we’re fully restocked on all of our pork products as of today!
