🥛 So, what exactly is a herdshare?

At Simple Roots Dairy, our milk isn't sold by the gallon at a store. Instead, families become part of our herd through a herdshare program.

You own a portion of the herd, and your monthly care & milking fee helps cover the costs of caring for the cows and producing your share of the milk.

Our milk is:

🐄 A2A2 milk
🥛 Rich & naturally creamy
🌱 From cows raised on our farm
🧪 Milk tested weekly
🧪 Farm and third-party testing
🤍 Available year-round

We're grateful to provide a way for local families to know where their milk comes from—and to know the people caring for the cows.

Dairy life expands beyond the pastures and parlor. 🐄🤎

Some days look like running errands, picking up feed, stocking cleaning supplies, catching up on paperwork, loading up the truck, and bringing the kids along for the ride.

It’s the early mornings, the long days, the unexpected to-do lists, and all the little things that keep the farm moving.

There’s so much more to dairy life than what happens in the pasture or at the milk pail. 🌾🐄

🐄 Nolan says milking cows is serious business! 😂

He’s taking it all in, watching Mommy and Daddy work and learning what farm life is all about. ❤️ There’s something pretty special about watching our little ones grow up around the animals, the hard work, and the everyday moments that make up our dairy life.

These are the moments we work so hard for. The moments we hope they remember. The moments that remind us why we do what we do.

This is our why.❤️🐄🥛 This is the future of Agriculture...

We have so many new faces around here, and we thought it was the perfect time to introduce ourselves and tell you a little more about Simple Roots Dairy LLC! 🐄🐮

We are a small, family-run dairy with a passion for providing high-quality, wholesome milk to local families.

Our cows are a mix of Guernseys and Jerseys, and we are proud to offer their rich, naturally A2A2 milk through our herdshare program. 🐄🥛

We believe families deserve access to quality food they can feel good about bringing into their homes. We work hard every day to care for our cows, maintain clean practices, and provide milk we are proud to put our name on.

Quality and safety are incredibly important to us. We test our milk weekly as part of our commitment to our herdshare families and to maintaining the highest standards we can.

Our herdshare spots are limited, but we are working toward growing our dairy so we can welcome more families in the future!

Interested in joining our herdshare waitlist?Head over to simplerootsdairy.com and fill out the waitlist form. 🐄🤎
