Super excited to work with Rex,my new Partridge Silkie Rooster, and see the chicks that will be hatching! 🐣✨

Not sure if any of his offspring will be old enough for the fall show season, but I think they may be ready for the January/February winter shows. 👀🐓

I couldn’t resist taking a picture of Jack Jack tonight—I just love his crest.

While SOP for this variety of breed calls for an all-white crest, I guess I’m the oddball. I’ve really been wanting to work more with a black-and-white “top hat” look paired with a full black body. Of course, that’s not SOP, so it’s not something I can show—but I absolutely love the Cruella de Vil vibes it gives.
