raise Hereford Beef, Kiko Meat Goats, Toggenberg Dairy Goats, Free Range Eggs, Pastured Chickens and Turkeys, and have a few Quarter Horses of our Own. We also have a small bee yard, a large garden to provide produce, and sell meat boxes seasonally. Most notably, we grow and sell hay and straw. We hope to open the feed store full time and be able to deliver a full service feed and forage experience. We pride ourselves in dual purpose animals. We want our livestock to not only look nice in the show arena but perform in the field and on your plate. We are constantly evolving looking for the best, most sustainable practices available to us. We kid twice a year once early Spring and again mid-Fall. If you are interested in a buck from us please reserve early. We price our hay according to costs, not the market. What this means for our customers is financial planning made easy. The price we quote you in May is the same price you pay the entire year regardless of what the hay market does. We would like to send out a special thank you to all of our friends and customers who have helped us along the way.

10% of all of our sales are donated to local charities and organizations. We accept Cash, Business Checks, PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, and Credit Cards for our customer's convenience.

It’s been a while since y’all have seen me back where I belong—running the show around here.

Around here, there isn’t an office staff. It’s just me. If the sun’s out, I’m probably in the field making hay, loading orders, or delivering to customers.

Many of our social media posts are scheduled while I’m in the field, so if you see me posting, I may still be on a tractor with little or no cell service. Text is always the best way to reach me, and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. If you need a reply by a certain time, please include the latest time I can text you back. We start early and often work late, so knowing your availability helps me return messages without disturbing you.

We’re wrapping up these fields this weekend, then it’s on to the next farm. My best bub has been learning the terrain, the equipment, and the business this week. There’s no better classroom than the hay field. 🚜🌾

Some days it’s tractors and cattle. Some days it’s tutus and recital buns. 🌾➡️🩰

If we’ve seemed a little quiet this week, we’ve been running from farm chores and feed deliveries straight to dance rehearsals every night. Between costume changes, late-night practices, and recital weekend, it’s been a busy one.

Behind every hay bale, farm stand, nursing shift, and long day are these little faces. Watching them work so hard and shine on stage makes every mile and every late night worth it. 💙🩵✨

We began transitioning to a direct deposit and electronic payment system in September, with full implementation effective February 1st.

All impacted vendors were contacted directly to complete onboarding and update required documentation.

All vendor onboarding and payments are handled through our established system and third party processing. Payments are issued once onboarding is complete. If any payments are outstanding, it is due to incomplete or missing required documentation.

Required documentation includes:
• W-9 for IRS reporting
• Vendor information and contact form
• Electronic payment setup including ACH, wire, or direct deposit
• Invoice with bale count, price per bale, and total load details
• Producer or source verification
• Field location and farm address of origin
• Forage test results where applicable
• Load verification upon delivery

Any matters involving legal representation are handled through formal channels.

Vendors are provided notice and an opportunity to complete required documentation.

If documentation remains incomplete, funds may be held or routed through appropriate third party or escrow channels until requirements are satisfied.

Nothing is handled through Facebook or social media.

For onboarding or payment processing, please contact us directly through the appropriate channels.

This will not be discussed further on social media. This system reflects standard practices used by retailers and national suppliers and allows third party bookkeepers and processors to manage accounting and payments efficiently.

Every load moving through our operation now carries a structured SKU that tracks
Product and cutting
Crop year
Supplier origin
Bale type

For our customers, that means better consistency, better transparency, and stronger quality control.

Where applicable, SKUs can also be linked directly to test results so you know exactly what you’re feeding and where it came from.

This system has been in development since September and is now fully active.

As we continue to grow, this allows us to operate more efficiently, maintain higher standards, and deliver with confidence every time.

We’ve been doing a full operational reset at Thundering Hill.

After a few years of running in survival mode, we’re back to making intentional forward looking decisions.

Cutting excess, reducing overhead, and building a more resilient operation going into the next couple seasons.

At one point we had 19 trucks on the insurance. That’s overhead not efficiency. So we’re restructuring the fleet and keeping what actually performs.

We also tested moving into larger 5500 plus trucks. Between access limitations and how the numbers pencil, it’s not the right fit for this operation right now so we adjusted.

If you’re seeing equipment listed, it’s not a step back. It’s preparation.

Thundering Hill is a one-woman operation. I personally handle sourcing, inventory, scheduling, deliveries, and customer service — because I take pride in doing it right.

That also means I need structured admin time so no one gets missed.

Structure allows me to serve everyone accurately and fairly.
