Not all grass fed beef is equal

I am constantly amazed at how definitions can be played with. Our goal is to have strictly 100% grass fed beef from start to finish. Some organizations allow “sacrifice pastures” and baleage. Others specify grass fed for a certain percentage of the animal’s life and then grain finished. Still others allow for concrete feed lots where animals are concentrated in a small space and fed hay, hay cubes or baleage and are considered “grass fed” as long as they have access to some minimal amount of pasture.

If you are looking for beef raised free range on pasture for their entire lives, as close to the “Open Range” as possible, then you are looking for our grass fed, antibiotic free, hormone free, all natural Texas Longhorn beef.
