Arkansas Game and Fish Commission approves 2020-21 hunting regulations changes

LITTLE ROCK — The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission voted today to approve many changes to the Commission’s Code of Regulations, including many wildlife regulations that may impact hunters during the 2020-21 hunting seasons. The proposals were presented to the public through an online survey in March and were formally proposed to the Commission during its April 23 meeting.

In light of the current situation, SBHC has postponed the Open House until after Turkey Season. We will review the situation at that time and determine our options. We are FULL, however if you would like to be placed on our waiting list, just let me know. We meet in January each year, determine if we have any openings, and provide those opportunities to the waiting list first. Take care everyone!

The SBHC Sporting Clays shoot last week was awesome! Thanks to everyone who came out and participated. The weather was perfect, food was abundant, and the smell of gunpowder was in the air! A HUGE special thanks to Mike Darr for putting this event together. He had everything planned out and worked hard to make this a big success. Also, congratulations to the winner of the raffle of the Smith & Wesson AR15!

It is already being discussed to do this again sometime just before hunting season.
