This week, we're featuring Purple Palm Açaí 🫐🌴

While Purple Palm may be one of Downtown Perryville's newer businesses, its roots are already growing deep within our community.

After moving to Perryville from the Alabama coast, the owners wanted to bring a favorite family tradition with them. On hot, humid days, they would grab a fresh açaí bowl and head to the beach. While the beach may be hundreds of miles away, the summer heat isn't—so they decided to bring a little taste of that refreshing coastal tradition to Perryville.

What they love most about being downtown is becoming part of a community with such deep roots and rich history. They appreciate how generations of families have built traditions around downtown businesses and gathering places, and they are honored to now be part of that story.

Their advice to first-time visitors?

Take time to experience the character that makes Perryville special. Pick up fresh flowers from Petunia & Lily Floral, visit the American Tractor Museum, enjoy a meal at Mary Jane Burgers & Brew, and explore the local shops that make our downtown unique. It's a place that offers memorable experiences while still feeling familiar and welcoming.
