It's with a heavy heart I announce the unfortunate ending of vending from my booth. I will NOT be making more product. What is left on the table will be the last of my stock for the foreseeable future. I am intending to keep doing refills for existing customers because we use my products daily at home and will contine to keep ingredients in stock. We're just not getting the traffic or business to continue to keep the tables stocked.
The weight of the economy is crushing us. On average the last two years have brought in 10% or less than what we used to earn. I haven't paid myself in more than a year. It's not sustainable and I have to be honest with myself. Taking time off obviously didn't help but I was needed elsewhere and its hard to push yourself to go get financially crushed on your "day off". It's soul crushing to know that it wasn't a fault of mine but the constraints of the times and not having the available capital we used to. I can't take food off our table to put products on the shelves to collect dust.
This year has been extremely hard to predict what the future will look like for our family. And were just figuring it out as we go. These last two years have been about loss and I guess this is the next, but I'm gonna keep doing my thing. There will be runs of extra salves, tye-dye and embroidery pieces because I'm not done creating, I'm just reshuffling the deck.
Come clear our tables September 13th and 20th at the Miami County Farmers Market. Only fitting to end it, where we began 💜 Thank you to every single customer, I couldn't have done this without you!
