They may not be the prettiest pumpkins in the patch but I guarantee you they are made with the most love! 🧡

I have intentionally stayed far, far away from decorated sugar cookies for the sheer fact that my ocd will never let me make them perfect! I was challenged by one of Leia’s sweet teachers to not only make pumpkin shaped sugar cookies, but to make them gluten AND dairy free so all the kiddos in her class could enjoy them!!

Oh! And they are DYE FREE!!

Of course, I was super hesitant but I accepted the challenge and I have to say I am proud of how my very FIRST decorated sugar cookies turned out. AND THEY TASTE SO GOOD!! Now, there might be a few pumpkins that lost a stem, got a bump, or lost an outline along the way but overall success! 🤪

BUT, I will have to give ALL the credit to Jesus for being right by my side during the entire process. I promise you these cookies have been prayed over more than most people 🛐🤣.

Now I’m not saying I’m in the decorated sugar cookie business just yet, but I am ready for more special requests and dietary restriction treats! So if there’s something you’ve been wanting to try but haven’t been able to due to restrictions, I’d LOVE to accept the challenge of baking something delicious and special for you!!

🍂 🍁 This weekend I was back in the kitchen (finally!) baking up some fall treats! 🍁🍂

🍎 My new favorite fall treat is Salted Caramel Apple Crumble Cheesecake bars!! Y’all I can’t even begin to describe how yummy these are! I don’t know if it’s the flavor combination or the homemade salted caramel that makes it the most perfect fall treat! 🍎

🎃 Who wants regular cinnamon rolls when you can have fancy braided cinnamon roll twists! Thus we’re so fun to make. I did a traditional cinnamon roll and then (of course!) I had to do a pumpkin spice version too bc you all know I’m obsessed with pumpkin spice. Both topped with a cream cheese frosting!! 🎃

Who knew Baby Yoda loved blue macarons!! 💙
A very special nine year old requested a Baby Yoda cake and blue macarons for her birthday party this past weekend! It was such a fun creation and my first time working with modeling chocolate. It is now one of my favorite things! Practice is needed but I was super excited that it came out as well as it did!
