No on J!

No on J!

We don’t talk about politics around here too much. We share about what we do and how much we appreciate being a part of your local foodshed. And if you know us at all, you know we are devoted to animal welfare and sustainable ranching.

With less than a week left until Election Day, we take a rare step in asking you to protect Sonoma County‘s devotion to family farms and ranches. Protect our access to fresh, humane, local foods. Protect the agricultural future of this county.

Vote NO on J.

The language of the bill is confusing and misleading. The family farms and ranches that it targets are some of the country‘s most dedicated to transparency and animal welfare. This measure will not protect animals— it will destroy YOUR access to local dairy and meats that have been raised sustainably and responsibly.

You can protect these animals by ensuring that these family ranches and farms can continue their good work. You can commit to buying local meats and dairy that have been raised sustainably, instead of commodity meats that have been trucked in from far away. If J passes, those commodity meats and dairy from big conglomerate operations in other parts of the country will dominate our local markets.

Vote NO on J.

I don’t know what’s going on with your face… but I think I like it 💕.
