Loveland Farms is based out of Petaluma, California, and is owned and operated by the three sisters, Kasie, Hanna, & Claire. Established in 2014, Loveland Farms is a fifth generation farm- the first to consist of all girls. Our herd consists of Berkshire, Duroc, Yorkshire, Gloucester Old Spot and cross bred hogs. OUr hogs live in large outdoor pastured pens which allow them to root and forage as t

hey please with access to covered barn shelters. Their diet consists of specially formulated grains, breads and other baked goods from a local organic bakery. We also supplement their feed intake with our home-grown barley fodder and seasonal fruits and vegetables. Growth stimulants or antibiotics are never added to their feed.

Fodder is a simple and efficient way of providing our hogs with a lush, fresh, nutrient-filled feed. It is hydroponically grown, allowing for us to farm in an eco-friendly way using recycled water. Barley fodder is high in protein and filled essential nutrients and amino acids. The best part about it? Its like dessert...The pigs LOVE it!!
