Love the magic transition from dirty to glowing orange beauties! C’mon down to our (likely) last farm stand of the season, Thursday September 17th. Doors open at 7:30 am, cash or check only, and we’ll be open till we sell out.

And remember, our carrots will store well for months in your refrigerator’s crisper drawer, so don’t be afraid to stock up. Also, garlic makes a great gift so think ahead to the holidays!

We’ll be back in Petersburg on Thursday, September 17th with more cured garlic and fresh picked carrots!
It’s time to stock up folks! The big door will rise at 7:30am and we’ll stay open until sold out. Cash or check only, and don’t forget your reusable shopping bag. Also, we are accepting your used red & white mesh bags from previous garlic purchases. Help us reduce, reuse, recycle! Thank you.

Dispatch from the carrot patch… be patient, it’s worth the wait.
Oh, and don’t forget to swing by the Farragut Farm building on the corner of 3rd and Haugen this afternoon (3-6pm) or Monday morning (7:30am till sold out) to load up on locally grown carrots and garlic!

Attention carrot snackers and garlic devotees! It's almost time for another Farragut Farm stand, woohoo! We will be back in town with carrots and garlic next Sunday and Monday (8/30 & 8/31). Sunday hours will be 3pm-6pm and on Monday morning the big garage door will rise again at 7:30am to sell off whatever we have left! Same place as always (corner of 3rd and Haugen).

We will have a limited quantity of freshly dug carrots available in both 2 pound baskets ($8) and 10 pound bulk bags ($40). There will also be a variety of cured garlic bulk bag options including:

2.5 pound bags of Georgian Crystal $40
5 pound bags of JUMBO Georgian Crystal $95
5 pound bags of Carpathian $80
2.5 pound bags of JUMBO Carpathian $48

Remember, Georgian Crystal is the variety that has big cloves but fewer per head, and is super spicy when eaten raw. Carpathian has smaller cloves but more per head, and is milder when eaten raw. Both varieties store well and will keep until next spring/summer, but we have found the Carpathian tends to hold its flavor and texture a bit longer than Georgian Crystal. For all these reasons, it's nice to have both varieties in your pantry. That way you can grab just the right sized clove, or the right level of spiciness, for whatever dish you are preparing!

We will sell the majority of our garlic harvest at this farm stand, but we still have some Carpathian drying on the racks, so if you can't make it, don't cry! We'll be back at least once more with cured garlic (and lots more carrots!) sometime later in September.

A quick heads up that we are headed to Petersburg with more fresh carrots and garlic! We will have 2 pound baskets and 10 pound bags of carrots available. Also 2 packs of fresh garlic, and 2.5 pound bulk bags of "semi-cured" garlic. If you buy a bulk bag you MUST spread it out in a warm, dry place for another the week or two in order to finish off the curing process (otherwise you run the risk of developing mold!).

We will be back to town in another 2 weeks or so with both 2.5 and 5 pound bags of fully cured garlic, as well as more fresh dug carrots. Plenty more to come!

Find us at the usual spot, the corner of 3rd and Haugen TOMORROW (Aug 10) with doors opening at 7:30am for all you early birds who need to stop by before work 😁As always, cash or check only and don't forget to bring along your reusable shopping bags!

Garlic harvest 2026 has begun! The heads are looking great, and we will be selling fresh garlic packs and carrots at a farm stand on Thursday (7/30)! Doors open at 11am, and we’ll be there until we run out. The usual spot at the corner of 3rd and Haugen. Cash or check only and please remember to bring your reusable shopping bag! We will be in Petersburg this Wednesday (Sept 10), selling cured garlic and fresh carrots all day from 7:30am to 6pm at the Farragut Farm building on the corner of 3rd & Haugen.  This will be the last farm stand of the summer!  We have LOTS of garlic so there will be no limits this go around. If you are wanting carrots — better to come earlier in the day as we do have a limited quantity of those.

We will be in Petersburg on Wednesday (Sept 10), selling cured garlic and fresh carrots all day from 7:30am to 6pm at the Farragut Farm building on the corner of 3rd & Haugen. This will be the LAST farm stand of the summer! We have loads of garlic so there will be no limits this go around. If you are wanting carrots -- better to come earlier in the day as we do have a limited quantity of those.

If you are picking up for friends or neighbors, here is a list of what we will have and prices:

5 # bag Georgian Crystal or Carpathian $80
5 # bag Georgian Crystal JUMBOS $95
2.5 # bag Georgian Crystal or Carpathian $40
*Both varieties keep for about a year -- GC has fewer, but bigger cloves per head while Carp has more cloves per head but each clove is smaller in size.
