Ray and Pat Smith, and their son, Todd Smith started our Llama breeding program.
2011
We took over the business of HHLF - Hickory Hill Llamas.....our breeding herd started with exclusive bloodlines from Argen
tina, Chile, Peru and North America. We have it all from Suri to Classic and Light to Extreme Heavy wool animals!! The refinement and mix of our breeding herd is now producing minimal guard hair animals with consistent fiber.
2014
Giant Angora Rabbit
Our partner and CFO John Hart spent a lot of time and research into investing in the rabbits. Our rabbitry was started with the impeccable fiber lines from the originator of the breed Louise Walsh.....and some EXTREMELY lucky finds from the excellent breeding program of Melanie Hultman!
2015
Angora Goats..........MOHAIR......Over a two year family decision that we should have made years ago. Luckily, we were fortunate to have the help of four breeders for our beginning doe herd (Thank you Mea, Marily, Rosalie, and in a way... ;) ....Alex and Annie). These folks that sold us some of their best were just some of the most amazing folks we have ever met and provided us with exceptional goats. We were so welcomed into a blooming industry that we will be involved in for the rest of our lives....The goats......Stunning, loving, roaming, bleating and simply.....amazing creatures that produce fiber that is just beautiful. Late 2015
With three species of fiber animals and a great deal of thought, we decided on closing a chapter of our lives. Ray was gone and we needed a different direction. We are now known as 2HF - Hickory Hill Fiber Farm.

English Angora Rabbit. A breeding pair of Black Torts from Shannon Shanks.... We attended The Mini Rabbit convention in Ohio and were handed a young black tort buck of hers. There is a very good possibility the we may receive our tort breeding pair in May. The Goat Bucks. It will be the hardest decision that all of us will have to make. A crucial decision that is pivotal in our Mohair production.
