🦌 BIG HUNTING WEEKEND IS COMING! 🦌

Michigan hunters — September 12 & 13 is a big weekend in the woods!

🦌 Liberty Hunt — open statewide to youth hunters age 16 and younger and qualifying hunters with disabilities.

🦌 Early Antlerless Fi***rm Season — also September 12 & 13 in eligible Lower Peninsula Deer Management Units.

And Merle’s Place will be OPEN ALL WEEKEND to take in your deer! 🥩

We especially want to wish all of our young hunters heading out for the Liberty Hunt a safe and successful weekend. There’s nothing better than seeing the next generation get outdoors and make those hunting memories. ❤️

📸 Parents — don’t forget those pictures! We’d love to see our local youth hunters and their deer.

⚠️ REMINDER: Michigan requires hunters to report a harvested deer within 72 hours OR before transferring possession of the deer to a processor or taxidermist, whichever comes first. Make sure your harvest is reported before bringing your deer in to us.
