So what does an off-grid dome actually have? 🌲

More than you might think.

We wanted staying off-grid at Tuckaway to feel like an adventure without feeling like you’re roughing it.

Inside you’ll find a cozy queen bed, off-grid power for charging your devices and running the essentials, a cooler for food and drinks (just bring the ice), lanterns, and everything you need to make a cup of our custom Pine Ridge Coffee coffee in the morning. ☕️

And because we know you’re wondering about the practical stuff: each dome has its own private porta-potty restroom and outdoor hand-washing station.

Outside, you’ll have Adirondack chairs, your own smokeless fire pit, and a Christmas tree farm to wake up to. 🌲

No traditional electricity. No kitchen. No TV.

Just a cozy place to sleep, coffee in the morning, a fire at night, and a chance to slow down for a little while.

It definitely wasn’t part of the original plan.

We first saw this property in 2013 and fell in love with it. Seven years later, we finally got the chance to call it ours.

The dream was the Christmas tree farm.

But as we built Tuckaway and started raising our family here, we realized there was so much about this place we wanted to share beyond a few weeks at Christmas.

The quiet mornings. The pond. The stars. The feeling of being tucked away from everything for a little while.

So we started small, with a tent by the pond.

Then we opened our A-frame to guests.

And this year, two little domes joined the farm.

Somehow, “let’s grow Christmas trees” turned into “let’s invite people to sleep here too.” 😂

We never planned that part. But getting to share this place we love with all of you has become one of our favorite parts of Tuckaway.
