It's July...and that means we have flowers—lots and lots of flowers! See you at Old Town Emmet Farm Market today 9-1. Find us at Petoskey Friendship Center, 1322 Anderson Road. Oh...and we're hosting our first donation-based cookout today. Cookout starts at 10:30am; $2 minimum donation per person/benefiting the Friendship Center (we LOVE the Friendship Center...for lots of reasons but one very important one to us—they let us host our market in their parking lot every Saturday). Brats/hot dogs, Coke/Diet Coke/Sprite/Root Beer, chips, dessert at the cookout. Today's market vendors are offering up the best of early summer: garden veggies, organically grown produce, fresh baked goods, arts & crafts...and flowers!

It's a wet day out there but Old Town Emmet Farm Market IS happening today! New bakery item on our menu — Sunflower Whole Wheat Bread: organic whole wheat flour, filtered water, organic sunflower seeds, organic agave syrup, organic olive oil, yeast, and sea salt. It's the bread Drew has been making for us here at home for DECADES. I can't imagine a morning without my first cup of coffee and a slice of that bread toasted and slathered with butter and jam. Perfection! Stop by and see us 9-1!

It's Old Town Emmet Farm Market Day! Saturday 9-1. On the menu today at Half Moon Acres: Fresh whole grain crackers (Pepper Parmesan and Smoked Paprika Crisps) + our Grain-free Tomato Nut Wafers; Vegan Wheat-free Waffles; Ginger Chocolate Scones; Chocolate Dipped Energy Bites; and Sourdough Whole Wheat English Muffins. We've picked a few vases of poppies from the gardens. And though the early summer flowers are a little slow, we've got a few flower varieties to make bouquets. Stop by! Lots going on at the market today. New vendors! Old Vendors! And a fabulous food truck, Carolyn Mae Pies—their breakfast sandwiches alone are worth stopping by!

It's Saturday and that means Drew's at Old Town Emmet Farm Market from 9-1. We still have tons of tomato plants, lots of varieties, and good prices. Check out our list of unique plants and come grab a few for your garden. It's not too late to plant! We also have spring flower bouquets, poppies, and Drew's organic crackers, scones, sourdough English muffins, and more!

First day of Old Town Emmet Farm Market 2024! We have dozens and dozens of tomato plants for sale. Drew has been busy for weeks starting seeds and tending seedlings so we can bring you an amazing variety of unique tomato plants. Stop by our booth and have a look!

New bakery item this week: Peach Brown Butter Bars made with fresh crop peaches from Bear Creek Organic Farm! We've got Sweet Potato Spelt Tortillas, Sourdough Whole Wheat English Muffins, Dark Chocolate Energy Bites, plus the usual line up of organic and whole grain items fresh baked this week by Drew! It's a gray day here at the Old Town Emmet Farm Market but we have lots of sunny, bright $10 flower bouquets! Bakery items this week include a few new products—Loaded Cornbread, Chocolate Zucchini Cupcakes, Sweet Potato Spelt Tortillas—as well as our usual line up of organic and whole grain items (Sourdough Whole Wheat English Muffins are always gone in a flash!). Plus, 8, 12, and 16.9 oz bottles of Jim Cherven's Maple Syrup from this year's batch made at the Cherven Farm in Roscommon, MI. Stop by!

We're at the Old Town Emmet Farm Market tomorrow, Saturday, August 5, 9-2. Flowers + organic and whole grain baked goods. This week Drew has added whole wheat tortillas to the menu, and it will be the last week for Rhubarb Brown Butter Bars. Sadly, our rhubarb season is nearly over. We're located at the Petoskey Friendship Center parking lot, Anderson Road, 9-2. We hope you'll stop by ❤️

The flowers are FINALLY abundant in our gardens, but we will not be at the Old Town Emmet Farm Market tomorrow, 7/08. We will be there Saturday, 7/15, with LOTS of flowers and Drew's baked goods. Please stop by and see us next Saturday!

Stop by our booth at Old Town Emmet Farm Market today 9-2! Whole-grain and organic baked goods + a limited number of bouquets. Flowers are a little slow-growing this year but we've got a few fresh bouquets of poppies and a gorgeous larger arrangement or two of peonies, daylilys, lupine, baptisia, delphiniums, and more. For the first time in many summers, we aren't participating in the Downtown Petoskey Farmers Market, but we continue to nurture our small 1.5 acres of field-grown flowers and expect a bountiful season of blooms. We are taking flower orders by phone and offer delivery and pick-up options. We hope we’ll be hearing from you soon!
