We wanted to provide an update regarding the post that has been circulating in the Northern Michigan community.
First, thank you to everyone who shared the post and helped us connect with the two patrons from our tasting room. We were able to get in touch with them, and just as we had hoped, there was no ill intent involved. Sometimes mistakes happen, and we’re grateful we had the opportunity to speak with them and get everything squared away. The two individuals pictured were incredibly friendly and are people who regularly support local businesses and our community.
This experience reminded us of something important: the service industry can be challenging, especially in a seasonal resort town. We navigate quiet winters, busy summers, long hours, and the occasional unexpected situation. But we do it because we genuinely love what we do.
Every day we have the privilege of meeting visitors from all over and serving the incredible people who call Northern Michigan home. The overwhelming support we received over the past few days is a reminder of why we keep showing up. Our community looks out for one another, and that’s something we’re proud to be a part of.
Thank you again for your support, understanding, and willingness to help. We look forward to raising a glass with all of you this summer.
