Sometimes magic appears in the strangest of places!

Did you know that we are a certified Monarch Waystation? We've had fun finding chrysalises all over the farm.

What do you see when you look at this picture?

I see native ground cover mowed to provide relief for young vines, interspersed with clover for nitrogen fixation. I see composted manure from a neighbors farm providing w**d control and water retention around young vines. I see vines tied with jute fiber instead of plastic, I see cedar posts cut from our property as posts. I see plenty of trees in the background providing habitat. I see the hard work of our vineyard team paying off in healthy vines.

All of this is part of our effort to purse sustainable, regenerative viticulture on our farm. You won't see perfectly manicured rows with herbicide strips down the middle, you won't see tilled ground, you might see some extra insects we don't care to spray insecticides on, but remember that it's all part of the plan!

We've got a musical weekend ahead of us!! We'll see you at the tasting room for Something Neutral on Thursday, then at Taste of Bliss during Blissfest on Saturday. Time to enjoy some wine and melodies!
