I am thankful to have a quiet hour of reading and relaxing in this beautiful room ~ full of my favorite colors . I am thankful for my family and friends, whom I love so very much. Hey! 👋🏻 October 5 and 82° this afternoon here in Petoskey. I guess a surreal summer deserves a surreal fall! Since my last post, Mabs’ has joined the retail space of in Petoskey and in Indian River, I’ve made (and eaten even more 🤣) great food and condiments, ridden in a hot air balloon, golfed poorly (but with two of my most favorite guys) and entertained at our house a lot (while sharing a Cuban cigar or two and still making it to the restaurant on time the next morning 😉). That’s all a huge win when you live in northern Michigan and the season is fast and furious. Thank you for buying locally, thank you for eating items with Mabs’ while out in the Wild West of restaurants and delis, thank you for ordering online (we appreciate our new Shopify site and hope it’s more friendly for you), and thank you for understanding how small business works. We’re still reeling from sticker shock with the last shipment of dry mustard from the UK. Rest assured, we’ll never change our quality ingredients, and we’ll always do our very best to get these specialty condiments to you at a price YOU feel is worth your hard earned cash. For now, I’m looking forward to a little less frantic pace, and more time for that “eating all the good things” with my people. ❤️🔥

This wasn’t my time in a boat, and can’t say I’ve been in our boat this summer (YET! and what the actual heck 😝) but Mabs’ shows up in great places with awesome people!

Well, hi! Long time no post (like 6 weeks omg 👋🏻🤣) but this has been my main view of late, putting delicious food “in the window” and making all things mustard in the evening This Bloody Mary omelette is the 💣 and one of our features through the weekend ~ you can see that yummo Mabs’ drizzle over the top of the olives…and the sauce is a remixversion (new favorite word I made up) of my brother’s FAMOUS Bloody Mary mix that sometimes appears on the boat for the 4th of July 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 Hope you all have a super great and safe holiday and weekend and next week I plan to post a list of where you can find and the other three to purchase, eat, and both! 😎🥳🌞🔥
