Sweet rains of September bring us green grass despite the summer heat, and, perhaps, because of that warmth, it's growing well. The herd appreciates the new growth on the perennial grasses. Looks like a productive October ahead.
We will be moving the herd from Moore Hill in early November, sort out the calves for market and slaughter fat steers. There is still one half beef available. With the importing of all that tainted beef, we are getting calls from numerous families wanting to eat the real thing. Let us know if you are one of them.
