✨ Working with Royal Icing Flex ✨
If your royal icing flex doesn’t come off your work surface this easily… then something went wrong 👀
This is the texture you WANT to see — smooth, flexible, and easy to lift without breaking. Perfect consistency makes all the difference when decorating your cookies 🍪💖

Ingredients:
• 4 cups powdered sugar (divided into 2 cups + 2 cups)
• 1 tsp meringue powder
• 1 packet unflavored gelatin
• 1/4 cup warm water (for the gelatin)
• Clear vanilla or any flavor of your choice
Instructions:
Mix the 1/4 cup warm water with the packet of unflavored gelatin and let it sit for a few minutes to bloom.
In your mixer, add 2 cups of powdered sugar and the 1 tsp of meringue powder. Mix on low speed.
Microwave the gelatin for about 10 seconds until it becomes liquid again.
Add the gelatin to the dry mixture and continue mixing on low speed until fully combined.
Add your clear vanilla or favorite flavor.
Add the remaining 2 cups of powdered sugar and keep mixing until everything is fully combined.
Dust your work surface with a little powdered sugar so the mixture doesn’t stick.
Remove the dough from the bowl and knead it well. The dough should not stick to your work surface. If needed, add a little more powdered sugar — but not too much.
Now your Royal Icing Flex is ready to roll, cut, and stamp! ✨
